What course are you taking now?
One tragedy in life is be stuck in a career path that you hate, and one that takes you nowhere.
Why are you taking the course you are in now: Parents? Friend pressure? Only one open? Don't know?
Well, you don't have to be a leaf blown by the winds to and fro. Each of us has a destiny to fulfill in this life. Don't rest until you find it!
God Himself created you for a purpose, as stated in Ephesians 2:10: "For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." (NIV)

What course should you take?
God will not make you do something beyond your capability to do or obey.
Hence, it is important to understand yourself: your emotional IQ, your personality type, your inclinations, your abilities and training.
For this, you ought to contact career counseling in your school or church.
Then, you must consult God in prayer. God will guide you through His Word in the Bible.
It is as you walk with God in prayerful conversation with Him, and through reading His bible consistently, that you will hear and feel God's guidance in your life.

What course should parents suggest?
As a parent, I have never forced my 4 children into a career they did not like. As they grew up, I helped them discover their personality types and emotional strengths and weaknesses. I also made sure that they discovered their priorities in life, so that they can make the right decisions. I also trained them how to consult God and His Word.
When they had a decision to make, I merely reminded them to recall their priorities, pray to God and decide accordingly.
Then, we tried to support them in their decisions to the best of our abilities, not the least of which is prayer.
